The Petalumans
The Petalumans is a series of interviews with local inhabitants. It originally aired on KPCA, Petaluma Community Radio. The show aired Mondays at Noon from July 1, 2019 through November 25, 2019.
Petaluma has been described as being populated of eccentric personalities. That is mostly a myth and it is more the case that people are free to express their unique personality in public. The Petalumans interviewed on the radio program represent a broad swath of people who have lived in Petaluma most of their lives and some who have only been locals for a short time. Many are creators of some sort who are also deeply invested in their town.
What is true for all of them is the willingness to sit down and have a conversation about their town and their lives.
